Cami Wardle

Cami Wardle joined the San Angelo Civic Ballet in the fall of 2010 when she and her husband moved from their home in Utah to Texas to pursue his graduate schooling. Cami graduated from Brigham Young University in 2010 with a degree in Dance Education and earned a secondary education teaching license with an emphasis in dance. During college she had the opportunity to perform with The Dancers' Company, the university's premier contemporary dance group, for multiple years where she was able to tour much of the United States. She also treasures her experience working with Kinnect, a unique company that performed and taught in elementary schools in Utah, Nevada, and New York. Cami has taught aerobics, ballet, jazz, modern and creative dance at many studios, academies and public schools in Utah and is thrilled to be working with the students and staff at the Civic Ballet. Recently she has had the opportunity to choreograph the Angelo Civic Theatre Youth production of "Annie Get Your Gun" and an elementary school outreach lecture-demonstration called "Dancing Inside-Out." Cami is passionate about the importance of incorporating dance and the performing arts into education and the community and is excited to continue those efforts here in San Angelo.
